7th Class (Kyu) White Belt

Complete beginners learn how to stand, move and face a potential troublemaker, and how to respond and react to being followed or to the multifarious ways in which violent offenders and troublemakers  attempt "setups" in real-world, realistic settings.

In regard to stance, students are instructed in the formal taisabaki (body shifting) drill of Ju-Jutsu.  This defense skill enables anyone to evade knife,  stick, club, bottle, rifle & bayonet onslaughts and paves the way for advanced knife and multiple attacker defense skills that will come later.

Basic, devastating blows derived from WWII commando and Marine Raider  courses, kenpo-karate and rough & tumble street combat are taught.  These are taught in a way that allows the student to reflexively adopt them to all situations.

Attack combinations (four) are a part of the  white belt course.  It is worth noting that the concept of building offensive combat combinations has been copied by virtually every single "WWII technique instructor"  around!  Many claiming to be offering "Fairbairn's" or "Applegate's" methods simply plagiarized this attack combination concept and emulated Professor Steiner (who is one of the worlds few legitimate, personally  certified technical descendants of Fairbairn and Applegate.)

Read KILL OR GET KILLED! and GET TOUGH!.  You will not find any of the attack combination material that the so-called "WWII" instructors claim they are  "carrying on" as Fairbairn and Applegate taught them.  This is because these skills are original with Professor Steiner; and what is most important (as the late, great Col. Applegate himself wrote to Professor  Steiner) AMERICAN COMBATO (JEN-DO-TAO) surpasses the original wartime skills!  It is all contained within COMBATO, plus much, much more!

A series of one dozen self-defense techniques (infinitely blendable and  combinable) with many variations and adaptations conclude the white belt course.  This is the truth!  Upon completion of a physical test and a written test, the next level begins.

THE STUDENT WHO MASTERS THE WHITE BELT COURSE HAS LEARNED MUCH MORE REALISTIC SELF-DEFENSE AND CLOSE COMBAT THAN MOST BLACK  BELTS IN TRADITIONAL SYSTEMS EVER LEARN!
